Romanian/English Version – Beneficiile otetului de mere bio in endometrioza/Apple Cider Vinegar benefits in endometriosis

EN: Apple Cider Vinegar benefits in endometriosis

After I neglected my diet for a while, I experienced some gastrointestinal issues. Not uncommon for endometriosis patients, especially those with bowel resection/endometriosis (1).

After a little research, I reached the conclusion I don’t need to worry, but to apply some common sense measures: regular meals, not too much, not in an unusual combinations (for example, no fruits immediately after meals), no cereals except for polenta and brown rice – even those in small portions), without pasta, not even gluten free pasta, diet as I used to eat and last, but not least, apple cider vinegar before meals.

I first read about apple cider vinegar 5-6 years ago when I was looking on the internet “natural remedies for ovarian cysts”. I don’t know for sure what to say about this particular issue, but, for me, apple cider vinegar has been a real help especially with gastrointestinal issues and to lose some weight (since my 2016 surgery, whenever I have above 52-53 kg I am not physically well). In addition to that, some while ago I read that a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in water, three times a day could help against thyroid nodules (the same effects would have a grated carrot a day). (2), (3). Besides the treatment and advice from your endocrinologist, I don’t think these small tricks would harm you, on the contrary.

To summarize, I have started again my “apple cider vinegar” routine for two weeks – a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a small glass of water/tea – three times a day – and I do feel the difference.

If one month ago, because of my symptoms, I believed I have “leaky gut syndrom” or “SIBO”, now I really think I was just careless with food, with diet and all these had consequences.

Therefore, if you also want to try apple cider vinegar for endometriosis, ovarian cyst, against gastrointestinal issues, for gastrointestinal health, for thyroid health or just to feel better overall, I would recommend to buy apple cider vinegar with the mother (yes, that’s exactly how it is supposed to write on the bottle) and to drink one teaspoon of ACV in water or tea, three times a day. You could start gradually, with just one drink a day, just to see how you feel and add it up afterwards. (4). Of course, do not forget the most important thing is the medical consult and advice.
